TISTA Science and Technology Corporation in Rockville, MD, seeks a Test Automation Lead to support the VA SCM DevSecOps program. You will lead QA strategy, automation, and release quality across VA environments, coordinating with stakeholders and Agile teams to translate business needs into tested, reliable software.

The role requires 10+ years in software quality engineering and 5+ years leading automation for federal programs.

Qualifications

10+ years in software quality engineering with federal IT programs
5+ years leading test automation for Agile teams
5+ years designing reusable test automation frameworks in CI/CD
Test across legacy and SaaS stacks (HL7, FHIR)
Coordinate security vulnerability scans and Section 508/WCAG testing
Experience with PHI/PII-safe synthetic data and deployment phases

Responsibilities

Lead overall test strategy, automation, and release quality for VA SCMDSO
Define comprehensive testing strategies (functional, security, performance, accessibility)
Build reusable test automation framework with Selenium/Cypress in CI/CD
Maintain RTM for agile requirements, test cases, defects
Manage end-to-end defect lifecycle and 10-day IOC period
Coordinate 508 accessibility testing with security teams
Mentor QA staff and contribute to proposals with metrics
Advance testing practices and AI-script validation governance
