Job summary

Decisive Point Consulting Group is seeking a Release Manager to own release management for a Salesforce Center of Innovation. The role coordinates changes across Integration, Stage, and Production environments and manages the release calendar, change control, and hotfix execution.

Strong emphasis on documentation and security is required. You will support DevSecOps pipelines, review design documents, and communicate status to stakeholders, with remote work primarily spanning the contiguous

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
10 years of relevant experience in enterprise IT, Salesforce, release management, or closely related technical services.
Ability to obtain and maintain a government background investigation.

Responsibilities

Own release readiness coordination, release calendars, deployment communications, and go/no-go support for assigned changes.
Coordinate major, minor, and hotfix releases and maintain release schedules across Salesforce environments.
Prepare change request packages covering implementation detail, rollback plans, responsible resources, and approvals.
Plan and execute urgent hotfixes, including technical validation, expedited approvals, deployment, and rollback preparedness.
Review Technical Design Documents for technical soundness, standards compliance, security, and release readiness.
