Job summary

Snowflake is seeking engineers to design and operate large-scale release platforms across multi-cloud environments. You will enable safe, automated deployments and progressive delivery through robust tooling and guardrails.

You will collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to simplify deployment, observation, and operation, while advancing AI-assisted, autonomous workflows for safer rollouts.

Qualifications

• Experience building or operating continuous deployment or release platforms at scale.
• Strong background with Kubernetes-based systems and safe rollout across distributed production environments.
• Proficiency in Golang, Java, C++, or similar systems languages plus Python/Bash scripting.
• Experience with distributed systems, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments.
• Data-driven mindset with observability tools to evaluate system and rollout health.

Responsibilities

• Design and build continuous deployment and rollout infrastructure for Snowflake’s multi-cloud production environment.
• Evolve platform capabilities for progressive delivery, including canaries, health checks, and rollback controls.
• Improve engineering velocity by automating release pipelines and reducing manual workflows.
• Build internal platforms to support large-scale release orchestration on Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with product and infra teams to simplify deployment, validation, observation, and operation of services.
• Apply AI-assisted, autonomous release workflows to improve rollout safety and developer productivity.
