Responsibilities

• Establish clear, consistent, and well-documented processes for software releases.
• Emphasize and implement automated, reproducible release processes.
• Work closely with software engineers on software releases.
• Oversee the entire release process from creation to deployment.
• Utilize metrics to monitor release velocity and system performance.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all release processes.

Skills

Deep knowledge of software development principles

Comprehensive understanding of the release process

Proven ability to automate build processes

Experience integrating observability tools

Willingness to iterate on release processes

Hands-on experience in Windows and Linux environments

Working knowledge of relational databases

Experience with modern version control systems

Familiarity with public cloud platforms

Familiarity with enterprise job scheduling tools

Knowledge of AI models or AI-driven development tools

Experience with SDLC best practices

Knowledge of programming and scripting languages

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science
