Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in protective relaying for utility substations.
• Strong working knowledge of microprocessor-based relays.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Lead job briefings and safety tailboards.
• Perform protective relay testing and commissioning.
• Verify control and protection circuits for transformers and breakers.
• Create and maintain accurate test reports.

Skills

Hands-on experience in protective relaying

Testing medium- to high-voltage protection systems

Microprocessor-based relays knowledge

Understanding utility safety rules

Interpretation of protection diagrams

Education

NETA Level III or IV Certification preferred

Technical degree or military electrical training
