Job summary

EDG Inc. is seeking a Sr. Relay and Protection Field Supervisor in Little Rock, AR.

The role reports to the Utility Construction Manager and supports capital construction projects from construction through commissioning and closeout of substations and transmission lines. Responsibilities include on-site field visits, coordinating with contractors, ensuring installation and safe commissioning of relay protection, SCADA, and communication systems, and maintaining project schedules, costs, and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or the equivalent.
Ten+ years of experience in Electric Utility Transmission & Distribution.
Knowledgeable in OSHA regulations and provide guidance to construction crews and upper management on proper application.

Responsibilities

Support project scope, cost estimates, and schedules as part of project teams.
Oversee on-site field visits and ensure Relay Protection, SCADA/RTU, and communications systems are installed and commissioned safely and efficiently.
Assist in developing detailed construction plans, outages, and procurement with vendors and contractors.
Ensure safety training compliance, contract safety meetings, and environmental requirements are followed at all sites.
Monitor project schedule, cost, QA/QC activities, and maintain as-built documentation.
