Job summary

The role emphasizes business development, client relationships, recruiting, and cross-group collaboration. A PE license or extensive experience without PE is required, with ABET-accredited BSEE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited university – Electrical Engineering (BSEE) preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience with a Professional Engineering (PE) License.
• 14+ years of experience without a PE.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, supervise, and mentor Relay Engineers and Designers.
• Lead and manage a team of Engineers, Designers, and Drafters responsible for relay protection and control design projects.
• Effective management of resource planning, performance management, and professional development for all staff.
• Lead by example to foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the development, review, and approval of proposal packages, work scope definitions, cost estimates, engineering schedules, and documentation for relay projects.
• Assist and support engineering design and drafting teams in technical execution throughout project lifecycles.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze technical issues quickly and develop solutions to minimize schedule and budget impact.
• Support coordination with clients, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate project delivery.
