Responsible to grow CRE client base and grow CRE portfolio in loans, deposits and fees. Focus will be to work with the CRE team in developing new relationship in CRE market in the Texas market as well as serve existing relationships. May manage and mentor the junior members of CRE team.

  • Through known and developed prospects, originate loans that fit the banks risk profile for real estate loans.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to the needs of commercial real estate finance clients seeking loans, prospecting, underwriting and originating new loans and work with third party legal counsel on the documentation and closing of sourced business.
  • Evaluate credit worthiness and risks in accordance with regulations and Bank policy.
  • Participate in the management of the portfolio based on departmental objectives.
  • Present credit offerings to senior management and be able to respond knowledgeably and confidently to management.
  • Assist in marketing expansion throughout Texas and the Midwest region for sales opportunities
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field. MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in the CRE industry.
  • 15+ years of progressive selling opportunities.
  • progressive management responsibilities is a plus.
  • Good understanding of financial institution departments and activities.
  • Demonstrate great customer service via phone and email.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate lending policies and procedures, credit/financial statement analysis, loan structuring, and global cash flow analysis.
  • Ability to close, prospect and have sales planning.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $70,000.00/Yr. - USD $225,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
