Banc of California, Inc. is seeking a senior private client relationship professional to develop and manage a portfolio of privately-held business clients in the Los Angeles area.

You will negotiate with prospects and clients, grow revenue through cross-sell of banking products, and provide financial guidance to a diverse client base. The role requires extensive experience in sales or relationship management within banking, including lending and portfolio products, and the ability to navigate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 12 years in sales or relationship management.
• Experience in commercial lending and portfolio products preferred.
• Advanced computer terminal and PC operation skills.
• Knowledge of banking regulations governing lending including RESPA and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages a portfolio of privately-held business clients, negotiating with prospects and clients.
• Grows revenue by prospecting for new business and expanding existing relationships.
• Provides financial advice and sells appropriate bank products and services.
• Builds strong relationships with referral sources and centers of influence.
• Structures and underwrites credits jointly with Loan Portfolio Managers.
• Processes account activity and resolves problems within authority.
• Answers inquiries from clients and staff and directs callers as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
