Job summary

First Western Trust is seeking an SVP, Relationship Banker III in Denver, CO to manage and expand a lending portfolio while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. You will drive loans, deposits, and assets under management, partnering with internal teams to offer comprehensive wealth management solutions.

You will lead client relationships, coordinate with specialists, and contribute to both individual and team production goals in loans and assets under management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• NMLS certification required upon hire.
• 10+ years of business development or client development experience, including 5–7 years of lending/underwriting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with banking software and CRM systems.
• Strong mathematical, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience handling high-net-worth client relationships and managing complex portfolios.
• Ability to manage large projects with limited oversight.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of loans, deposits, and assets under management to meet team goals.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with personalized financial solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide a full wealth management offering.
• Process loan requests and oversee approvals.
• Administer complex loan portfolios, track covenants, collateral, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for growth within your portfolio and help clients reach their goals.
