Job summary

Mission Federal Credit Union is seeking a Senior Relationship Banker in San Diego, on-site, offering a hourly compensation range and incentives. You will lead member relationships, open accounts, process loans, and promote digital tools while supporting branch growth.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring teammates, and staying compliant, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and meeting sales targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a bank, credit union, or financial institution.
• At least 12 months of experience opening new accounts and processing or referring loan applications.
• Demonstrated success in sales, referrals, and relationship building.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced member-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service by greeting and assisting members.
• Open new accounts and products for new and existing members.
• Process and fund consumer loan applications and assist with real estate loan applications.
• Analyze member needs and recommend appropriate financial products and services.
• Generate qualified referrals to business partners, including Investments and Auto Loan specialists.
• Conduct follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction and identify additional opportunities to support member needs.
• Promote digital banking solutions and educate members on available self-service tools.
• Resolve account inquiries and conduct account research as needed.
• Consistently meet or exceed individual and branch sales and referral goals.
• Participate in branch sales initiatives, community events, and business development activities.
