Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of face-to-face customer service or retail sales experience with a track record of meeting goals.
• Ability to learn Trustmark lending guidelines and process loans within 2 years.
• Registration with the NMLS is required.
• Strong math and ability to balance cash drawers.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to pass required assessment tests and meet sales goals.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with internal systems.
• Experience processing consumer or mortgage loans preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Relationship Bankers and Tellers.
• Review/approve various transactions including cash items and deposits.
• Handle cash shipments and vault management for a branch.
• Originate consumer loans and identify referral opportunities.
• Cross-sell deposits, loans, insurance, and cash management services.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences per Trustmark standards.
• Balance cash drawers daily and ensure proper documentation.
• Meet sales/referral goals quarterly and generate outreach calls.
• Travel between branch locations and perform additional duties as assigned.
