Qualifications

• 2 years of face-to-face customer service experience or retail sales experience.
• Able to learn Trustmark consumer and/or mortgage lending guidelines and process loans within 2 years.
• Be able to register with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS).
• Able to use basic math concepts and handle routine transactions.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and make referrals through proactive sales/service efforts.
• Service, sell, and cross-sell deposit accounts, loans, insurance, and cash management services.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience following Trustmark's service standards.
• Safeguard bank assets and process transactions accurately (deposits, withdrawals, wires, loan payments).
• Balance cash drawer daily and meet sales/referral goals quarterly.
• Make outreach calls to customers and prospects.
• Coach and mentor Relationship Bankers and Tellers.
• Review/approve transactions including night drop logs, ATM deposits, and cash drawers.
• Handle cash shipment and vault management for a branch.
• Assist with consumer loan origination and other duties as assigned.
