Job summary

Santander Consumer USA Inc. is seeking a Senior Relationship Banker to manage a portfolio of high-value consumer and small business clients, drive cross-selling, and deliver an exceptional customer experience across branch, phone, and digital channels.

You will deepen relationships with new and existing customers, articulate product benefits, and partner with colleagues to meet branch goals while maintaining risk/compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience selling products and/or services in an incentive-based environment.
• 2+ years in financial services with direct experience acquiring new client relationships and developing existing client relationships.
• 12+ months demonstrated Santander experience related to the essential functions and responsibilities of the Relationship Banker role.
• 12+ months customer service experience within a high volume, fast paced environment.
• Strong financial acumen with general knowledge of consumer and small business products, and lending.
• Proven track record in sales and cross-selling products and services.
• Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a portfolio comprised of high value consumer and small business clients.
• Proactively deepen relationships with new and existing customers via outreach.
• Be the expert on Santander products and articulate benefits to customers.
• Assess customer needs and identify opportunities to help achieve financial goals.
• Recommend and deliver needs-based solutions and introduce key partners.
• Collaborate with team members and partners to achieve branch goals and drive performance.
• Engage customers through digital platforms to educate them on self-service options.
