Job summary

Ascend Bank seeks a Senior Universal Banker to strengthen client relationships through in-person service and education on banking products. You will work with the Retail Branch team to deliver personalized solutions, manage risk, and ensure compliance with bank policies.

You’ll monitor performance, coach staff, and participate in community outreach to promote the brand and build lasting partnerships within Middletown and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• High school education or GED.
• Bilingual English/Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients, local businesses, and community organizations through in-person meetings and calls.
• Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and procedures, and assist in audits.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track branch KPIs and share insights with management using CRM data.
• Staff Development and Training: Lead and guide Universal Banker staff and identify training needs.
• Community Engagement and Outreach: Represent the bank at events and identify sponsorship opportunities.
