Pathfinder Bank is seeking a Universal Banker to strengthen customer relationships within a community bank setting. You will support deposits, consumer lending, and daily branch operations while identifying financial needs and connecting customers with suitable products.

You will play a key role in delivering high service levels, maintaining accurate records, and advancing branch growth, with opportunities for internal mobility and community impact.

Formación

• 2–5 years in banking, financial services, or equivalent customer relationships.
• Ability to identify customer needs and convert service into sales/referrals.
• Experience with deposit account servicing and processing transactions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain NMLS registration.
• Ability to process consumer loan applications and qualify for lending authority.
• Ability to open/close the branch per procedures.
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy and fault handling.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced banking environment.
• Familiarity with banking systems and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide and maintain a high level of customer service during all interactions.
• Build customer relationships by identifying financial needs and suggesting Bank products.
• Develop and manage relationships to support retention and branch growth.
• Process consumer loan applications from start to close, including home equity products.
• Promote Bank products and refer customers to specialists for additional needs.
• Handle retail and commercial transactions: deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, checks.
• Maintain cash handling accuracy and balance per procedures.
• Support daily branch operations including night drop and ATM balancing.
• Keep customer contact information and account records current.
• Assist with administrative tasks to support efficient branch operations.
• Stay updated on Bank products, services, procedures, and changes.
• Identify and manage operational and fraud risks per policy.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and Bank information.
