Job summary

NBT is hiring a Senior Relationship Banker to deliver consultative customer service and efficiently open and process new deposits and banking transactions for both consumer and business clients. The role involves educating customers, cross-selling products, and referring sales opportunities to partners to meet customer needs with accuracy and speed.

The position requires knowledge of consumer and small business lending, credit reports, and the ability to discuss loan details.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum two years’ experience in related banking positions preferred.
• Previous customer service, sales, consumer, and business lending experience preferred.
• Experience demonstrating leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• 50% Accountable for high standards of service and responsiveness to ensure fulfillment of external and internal customer needs. Delivers solutions to customers through interactive conversations to assess and address their needs.
• 30% Administers the delivery of quality customer service with internal and external customers by ensuring adequate branch coverage and efficient service.
• 10% Participates in community events that support CRA.
• 10% Performs other duties including training for other employees.
