Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Economics, Accounting, Physics, or related field.
• 2+ years of actuarial or related experience in underwriting, brokerage, or P&C insurance, with at least one actuarial exam completed.
• Curious, proactive, and growth-oriented with ability to lead initiatives and research projects.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for brokers and clients.
• Collaborative, team-oriented, proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with brokers on client needs and advises on reinsurance programs based on risk tolerance and trends.
• Performs calculations using specialty models and client data to assess risk exposures and outcomes.
• Reviews client data, loads data into predictive models, runs analyses, and shares results with brokers.
• Directs junior team members in analyzing industry developments affecting loss liabilities and client outcomes.
• Independently builds complex MetaRisk analyses and explains assumptions and results.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with brokers, reinsurers, and clients to support new business development.
