Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Reinsurance Actuary on the Global Analytics team to serve as a strategic actuarial and analytics partner to brokers and clients. You will build complex analyses of assumptions, premiums and risk, and advise on reinsurance programs to mitigate risk.

The role leverages AI and modern tooling like Databricks and Python to improve speed, consistency, and scalability. The position offers a hybrid work setup with in-office days across several U.S.

Qualifications

• ACAS credential with 5–7 years in the industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Math, Statistics, or related field.
• Pricing, valuation, and/or capital modeling experience.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite.
• Visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Coding experience in Python, Alteryx, R, VBA, SQL; familiarity with Databricks.
• Comfortable working in interactive teams with brokers and clients.
• Ability to lead day-to-day parts of projects and drive progress.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult with brokers on client needs and advise on reinsurance programs.
• Communicate strategically with brokers, reinsurers, and clients to drive analytics usage.
• Implement complex models to assess risk and develop pricing and strategies.
• Evaluate the impact of reinsurance structures on client financials.
• Use AI-enabled approaches to streamline repeatable work while maintaining controls.
• Help create broking-aligned strategies that strengthen client relationships.
