Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or related field.
• 2+ years actuarial or related experience in underwriting, brokerage, or P&C insurance; at least one actuarial exam completed.
• Curious, proactive and growth-oriented with ability to lead initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with brokers to advise on reinsurance programs based on risk tolerance and trends.
• Performs risk analyses using specialty models and client data.
• Reviews client data for reasonableness and loads data into predictive models.
• Directs junior team members in analyzing industry and regulatory developments affecting loss liabilities and client outcomes.
• Independently builds complex MetaRisk analyses and explains assumptions and results.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with brokers, reinsurers and clients to support new business in reinsurance actuarial services.
