Job summary

Valeris, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Reimbursement Case Manager to provide patient and provider support and coordinate reimbursement processes within the Patient Support Program.

You will work with insurers to verify benefits, assist with enrollment, and navigate Medicaid/Medicare and private payer requirements while delivering compassionate service. The role requires 3+ years in case management, strong problem-solving skills, and knowledge of medical insurance terminology.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; or a minimum of 4 years of call center or customer service experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of case management experience with strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Preferred experience in medical, pharmacy, and Buy & Bill processes and related insurance workflows.
• Knowledge of medical insurance terminology and reimbursement/insurance processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills; proficient with Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Provide inbound and outbound phone support for patients, caregivers, and providers.
• Coordinate eligibility, enrollment, and benefits verification within the patient support program.
• Verify insurance coverage with payers and assist with reimbursement processes.
• Escalate complex cases per SOPs and maintain case notes in the system.
• Serve as liaison to sales, program management, and healthcare providers.
• Assist with reporting, nesting of new hires, and adherence to corporate policies.
