Job summary

Valeris is seeking a Program Supervisor to oversee reimbursement and administrative functions in a fast-paced healthcare support role. You will mentor staff, monitor performance, and ensure timely reimbursement activities while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

The role requires strong knowledge of pharmacy benefit methods, Medicare/Medicaid processes, and a client-focused approach. This is an on-site position based in Morrisville, NC with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of reimbursement/insurance or healthcare billing experience preferred.
• 3-5 years supervisory experience in a service-driven environment.
• Knowledge of pharmacy benefit methodologies and payer payment systems.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer processes.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor subordinates; handle performance appraisals and schedule adherence.
• Liaise between the Program Manager and the team; prepare daily/weekly productivity reports.
• Oversee reimbursement support and ensure compliance with SOPs and policies.
• Advise patients and providers on insurance coverage and prior authorizations; assist with appeals.
• Coordinate audits and escalate complex reimbursement issues to the Program Manager.
