Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a Senior Reimbursement Analyst to support Third-Party reimbursement and AR valuation. This role covers cost reporting, audits, interim rates, net revenue analysis, and budget preparation, reporting to the Manager of Cost Reporting & Reimbursement.

Work with the Reimbursement team and Finance colleagues to develop financial models, review data, and ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting across business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Three to five years of experience in healthcare finance and Medicare cost reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).

Responsibilities

• Keep abreast of CMS and state regulations impacting reimbursement and CHIA reporting.
• Develop and present estimated financial impact of Medicare rule changes.
• Maintain AR financial models and reconcile to GL.
• Compile components of Net Revenue for monthly/annual/budget reviews.
• Analyze and report monthly case mix with explanations for variances.
• Assist in Medicare and CHIA cost reporting preparation and audits.
• Develop quarterly Third-Party contractual reserve rates by payer.
• Support PFS team with cash reconciliations and AR mappings.
