Job summary

Mana Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas (MANA) is seeking a Senior Reimbursement Specialist to optimize reimbursement performance across our organization. You will analyze trends, negotiate managed care contracts, and ensure accurate reimbursement for services provided.

Reporting to the Director of Reimbursement, you will monitor reports, evaluate policy changes, and collaborate with insurance representatives to resolve issues, supporting our financial health and the delivery of quality

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create, maintain, and analyze spreadsheets.
• Have 5 years related experience and/or training.
• Experience in contracting and fee negotiations with payers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining fee schedules and procedure code constants to ensure up-to-date information for determining allowable amounts and the accuracy of reports.
• Monitor the insurance payment exception report to identify problems and report to the Director of Reimbursement.
• Analyze managed care contracts for content and perform impact analysis of proposed fee schedule changes during contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with insurance company Provider Representatives to resolve contract conflicts (fee schedule variances, provider network status, etc.).
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
