Job summary

Selby Jennings seeks a seasoned leader to drive governance, control oversight, and regulatory reporting in a complex banking environment. You will partner with Finance, Risk, Audit, Compliance, and Technology to strengthen reporting processes, support regulatory requirements, and drive automation initiatives.

This role requires 10+ years in banking and proven ability to lead cross-functional programs, manage issues, and present to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in banking, regulatory reporting, or governance.
• Knowledge of FR Y-15, Y-9C, Call Reports, CCAR/Y-14 is preferred.
• Experience with regulators, auditors, and governance committees.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and control activities for financial and regulatory reporting.
• Partner with business and control functions to enhance reporting accuracy and transparency.
• Assess reporting processes, data flows, and controls to identify risks and improvements.
• Coordinate issue management including root cause analysis and remediation tracking.
• Support the production and oversight of regulatory submissions (FR Y-15, Y-9C, CCAR/Y-14).
• Develop executive reporting, dashboards, and governance materials.
• Support internal audits and regulatory examinations with coordinated responses.
