Job summary

Centene Management Company is seeking a policy and regulatory affairs professional to review and interpret proposed legislation and regulatory updates for Commercial/Marketplace products, coordinating across departments to secure regulatory approvals.

The role involves federal and state analysis, drafting responses to regulators, and mentoring junior staff, with a focus on accuracy, risk assessment, and timely communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Master's degree or JD may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, analyzes and interprets proposed or enacted legislation at federal/state levels for Commercial/ACA products.
• Performs regulatory analyses and summarizes regulatory updates for internal stakeholders.
• Drafts responses to external regulatory requests and supports COA submissions for new states/products.
• Mentors junior staff and contributes to training materials.
• Ensures compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Healthcare, Political Science/Pre-Law or equivalent experience

Master's Degree in a related field or Juris Doctorate may be considered in place of experience
