Job summary

Centene is seeking a policy and regulatory affairs professional to review and summarize proposed and enacted legislation affecting Commercial/Marketplace products. You will conduct state and federal research, monitor regulatory changes and advise the business on implications.

In this role, you will draft clear analyses, communicate findings to cross-functional teams, and support interactions with regulators. Collaboration and precise, audience-appropriate language are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, healthcare, political science/pre-law or equivalent.
• Master’s degree preferred; JD may substitute for experience.
• 4+ years experience in health insurance, legal, compliance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, analyzes and interprets proposed or enacted legislation at federal and state level and communicates findings.
• Performs comprehensive regulatory analyses related to Commercial/ACA rules and regulations.
• Leads regulatory interpretation and explains concepts to diverse audiences.
• Develops trust-based relationships and collaborates on large projects.
• Drafts responses for regulatory filings and policy needs.
• Mentors juniors and assists in developing training materials.
• Complies with policies and standards.
