Job summary

Centene Corp. seeks an experienced regulatory policy expert to review and summarize proposed legislation and regulatory updates affecting Commercial/Marketplace products.

You will conduct state and federal policy research and monitor changes to support regulatory approval. You will build trust across departments, lead interpretation of ACA rules, communicate findings clearly, and draft regulator responses while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master/JD preferred in related field.
• 4+ years experience in health insurance, legal, compliance or related field.
• Experience reviewing regulations and providing interpretation for varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze and interpret legislation at federal/state levels and communicate findings to impacted departments.
• Perform comprehensive regulatory analyses and summarize key regulatory updates for ACA/commercial rules.
• Develop responses to regulators and provide guidance on regulatory requirements across states and products.
• Lead large projects with cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff.
