Job summary

Centene Corp. is seeking a regulatory affairs professional to review and interpret federal and state legislation impacting our managed care products.

You will communicate findings to internal teams, perform risk assessments and monitor regulatory changes across relevant jurisdictions. The role requires building relationships with state regulators, especially the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), and translating complex rules into clear guidance for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years experience in health insurance, legal, compliance or related field preferred.
• Experience reviewing regulations and providing interpretation in plain language to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret and summarize proposed and enacted legislation and regulatory updates for assigned products.
• Perform state and federal regulatory analysis and advise business units on regulatory changes.
• Track Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR), engaging with RACs and assisting OHA feedback submissions.
• Lead end-to-end process for annual contract restatement and monitor implementation status.
