Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Sr Specialist - Technical Writing Computer Professional to lead documentation and content development for the OPTN program. You will partner with project teams and subject matter experts to create, review, and maintain program artifacts, training materials, user guides, and customer communications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience.
• Translates technical information into clear, readable documents for technical and business users.
• Leads documentation and content development efforts with SMEs and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of SMEs and coordinate with Project Leads to create program artifacts.
• Review documents with Program Executive and PMO.
• Write and edit documentation including program style guides, training materials, user manuals, presentations and other artifacts.
• Gather, analyze and compose program information; ensure proper terminology.
• Translate technical information into clear documents for users.
• Develop materials and train staff on writing style and customer communications.
• Improve editorial and visual standards and recommend new designs and procedures.
• Support program administrative team with office management tasks.
