Job summary

F5 Networks, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Regulatory Compliance Engineer to guide EMC and product safety compliance across F5 hardware.

You will collaborate with internal engineering teams and external vendors to ensure adherence to CISPR32/35, FCC Part15, and CE/UL/IEC schemes, among others, while reviewing designs for regulatory readiness. You will stay current with standards worldwide, coordinate testing, and help manage documentation and root-cause analyses for non-compliance, with travel up to 25%

Qualifications

• :Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• :5+ years in EMC / Product Safety / Compliance (7-10 years preferred).
• :Proficient with certification and testing standards (CISPR, CSA, EN, IECEE CB Scheme, FCC, NEBS, TUV, UL).
• :Familiar with National Electric Code basics and wiring diagrams.
• :Hands-on experience with EMC and Product Safety test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordination and performance of EMC and product safety compliance/approvals for F5 hardware, including schedules, test procedures, test plans, report reviews, and approvals.
• Assist in NEBS compliance testing coordination for F5 hardware products.
• Establish/maintain relationships with testing vendors for compliance certifications.
• Stay abreast of latest EMC and Safety standards, domestic and international.
• Review new hardware designs upfront to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Participate in internal and off-site testing for EMC, safety, NEBS, or other regulatory standards (up to 25% travel).
• Create and maintain in-house test procedures, test plans, guidelines, and other regulatory documentation.
• Initiate/root cause analysis for non-compliance issues.
