Job summary

F5 is seeking a Sr. Regulatory Compliance Engineer to ensure hardware products meet EMC, safety, and regulatory standards globally. You will work with internal engineering teams and external vendors, coordinating tests, reviews, and certifications, including CISPR, FCC, NEBS, and UL schemes.

The role requires 5+ years in EMC/Compliance, a Bachelors in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, and on-site work with up to 25% travel. Base pay ranges from $160,800 to $241,200 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering as required.
• 5+ years in EMC / Product Safety / Compliance; 7–10 years preferred.
• Proficient with CISPR, CSA, EN, IECEE CB Scheme, FCC, NEBS, TUV, UL.
• Familiar with National Electric Code basics and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on EMC and Product Safety testing experience.
• Ability to read schematics and pull BOMs from a PLM.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and under pressure.
• On-site work with up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EMC and product safety compliance for F5 hardware.
• Coordinate NEBS compliance testing for F5 hardware products.
• Establish/maintain relationships with testing vendors for certifications.
• Stay abreast of EMC and Safety standards domestically and internationally.
• Review new hardware designs to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Participate in testing for agency compliance (emc, safety, NEBS) up to 25% travel.
• Create and maintain test procedures, plans, guidelines, and other regulatory documentation.
• Initiate root cause analysis for non-compliance issues.
• Uphold F5’s Business Code of Ethics.
