F5 Networks, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Regulatory Compliance Engineer to partner with internal engineering teams and external vendors to ensure F5 hardware meets EMC, safety, and regulatory standards worldwide.
The role involves coordinating testing plans, maintaining vendor relationships, reviewing designs for compliance, and supporting travel for on-site exams as needed. The position reports to the Regulatory Compliance team and offers a path to influence product safety across the portfolio.

As a Sr. Regulatory Compliance Engineer at F5, you will be responsible for working with internal F5 engineering teams as well as external third-party compliance vendors to ensure that new, modified, or existing F5 hardware products conform to international product safety, physical protection, and EMC/EMI certification requirements. The candidate must be familiar with CISPR32/35, FCC Part15, CSA/UL/IEC 62368-1(CB Scheme), Harmonized Standards for the EMC and LVD Directives, and NEBS GR-63/GR-1089.
Working knowledge of the standard requirements for IT and Telecom equipment. General knowledge of power electronics theory and practical designs. Ability to read schematics. Ability to pull BOMs from a PLM system. Ability to read and translate regulatory legislation as it pertains to F5 hardware products. Ability to work cross‑functionally with different teams and interface easily with other disciplines. Ability to work under pressure and multi-task effectively. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Work Schedule Primarily onsite Monday - Friday.
Hybrid: Employees within 30 commutable miles of an F5 office are required to work from the office a minimum of 30 business days per quarter.
Remote: Primarily work from designated home location but can come into an F5 office to work or travel to an offsite location as needed.
The annual base pay for this position is: $160,800.00 - $241,200.00 F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
