Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Experience in a medical office preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and registration; check-in/check-out; charge entry and claims; end-of-day processes.
• Document processing; scanning; inbox monitoring; general clerical duties.
• Schedule patient appointments to maximize access; handle calls and direct appropriately.
• Register patients, obtain consent forms and demographics; collect co-pays as applicable; document monies collected.
• Act as liaison between patients and clinical staff; monitor delays and inform providers.
• Cross-cover other areas as needed.
