Job summary

The University of the District of Columbia is seeking an Associate University Registrar for Operations to provide strategic leadership for the day-to-day Registrar services. This role supervises staff, ensures FERPA compliance, maintains student records integrity, and leads graduation and enrollment verification processes.

Reporting to the University Registrar, you will develop operational standards, measure KPIs, manage the registrar budget, and partner with campus colleagues to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of progressively responsible experience in a Registrar's Office or Enrollment Services.
• Associate degree and 10 years of progressively responsible experience in a Registrar's Office or Enrollment Services with related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, certifications, and demonstrated competencies, may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree.
• Three years of supervisory or management experience.
• Knowledge of registrar operations, records management, and customer service.
• Knowledge of FERPA and other applicable federal/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily operations of the Registrar to ensure timely, accurate, student-centered services.
• Develop and continuously improve operational procedures and service standards.
• Monitor performance with KPIs and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with policies, accreditation, and applicable regulations.
• Oversee student records management and security.
• Lead graduation, enrollment verification, and transcript services.
