Job summary

Dominican University New York seeks a dynamic Registrar who will serve as the university’s chief steward of academic records and enrollment services, reporting to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. The Registrar leads the Registrar’s Office and directs the leadership, administration, and operational effectiveness of the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in academic administration in higher education.
• Strong leadership experience within a Registrar’s Office or equivalent governance function.
• Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills; accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with student information systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Registrar’s Office, ensuring integrity, security, accuracy, and accessibility of student records.
• Oversee registration services, degree conferral, scheduling, curriculum implementation, catalog management, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Admissions, IT, Financial Services, HR, Athletics and other stakeholders to support student success and regulatory reporting.
