Zusammenfassung

Southwest District Health (SWDH) seeks a Registered Dietitian, Senior to join the WIC Nutrition Program. The role covers six counties with location flexibility across Caldwell, Nampa or nearby Treasure Valley areas and may be full-time or part-time (24–40 hours/week).

Qualifikationen

• Must be certified as a Registered Dietitian and eligible for Idaho licensure prior to appointment.
• 2-4 years of experience or equivalent education in public health nutrition and program planning/evaluation.
• Experience with a Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) pre-planned program.

Aufgaben

• Conduct nutrition and health assessments in clinic settings.
• Develop individualized care plans and provide referrals.
• Determine eligibility and prescribe WIC benefits for high-risk participants.
• Coordinate outreach and deliver presentations to community stakeholders.
• Lead staff training and develop educational materials.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and propose service improvements.
