Job summary

Heritage Health in North Idaho is seeking a Registered Dietitian who will promote healthy eating and nutrition among patients and staff. The role includes creating individualized meal plans and helping to design and administer employee wellness programs.

Responsibilities include health assessments, SMART goals, and public speaking to support community health. A valid Idaho Dietitian license and RD credential are required, with 1–2 years of healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or dietetics required.
• Registration Exam for Dietitians passed and RD credential preferred.
• Idaho Dietitian License required or must be obtained before hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying patient health education needs through health assessment activities.
• Establish structured SMART goals with participants to achieve success.
• Contribute to the development of the company’s wellness programs.
• Administer the company’s wellness programs.
• Develop a monthly nutritious meal plan.
• Promote nutrition through public speaking and community outreach programs.
• Heritage Health staff have an active role in our Patient Centered Medical Home model of care.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Performs other duties as assigned or as needed.
