You will price and negotiate contracts while ensuring profitability across D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, and Crime lines. The role requires 10+ years of underwriting experience in management and professional liability, strong D&O market knowledge, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10+ years underwriting experience in management and professional liability.
• Strong knowledge of the D&O external market and marketing experience in retail/wholesale channels.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret risk data and support decisions.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Suite proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a steady flow of new business opportunities with brokers.
• Underwrite renewals and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Develop risk pricing using exposures, claims history and pricing tools.
• Achieve budgeted financial results (premium, loss ratio, retention, pricing).
• Collaborate with various areas for risk characteristics and broker reviews.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting strategies and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current on regulatory changes and claim developments.
• Provide timely quotes and endorsements to brokers.
• Assist in developing underwriting strategy across product lines.
