Quaker Houghton is seeking a senior regional commercial leader to guide the regional sales strategy, optimize revenue streams, and align with cross-functional partners including R&D, marketing, and product management. The role drives go-to-market execution, channel strategy, and efficient field coverage across regions.
The ideal candidate possesses 15+ years in sales/marketing or business development in the industrial fluids sector, with 10+ years in multi-regional leadership and strong English
Provide effective leadership, input and direction to the regional commercial team to develop and execute strategies to achieve business objectives (sales revenue, margin, SG&A, working capital, P&L, etc.). In partnership with the PAM leader and cross‑functional stakeholders, maintain existing business, identify new revenue streams, and support business‑case development and implementation for business development, Fluidcare, R&D and marketing. Execute the go‑to‑market strategy, define criteria for channel selection, manage channel conflict, and set success metrics. Ensure efficient direct‑sales resource allocation and geographic coverage in coordination with regional segment leaders. Promote collaboration among sales teams, non‑direct partners, technical and product management teams to support product portfolio strategies. Consolidate and monitor accurate regional commercial sales‑revenue forecasts. Collect market intelligence, customer feedback (VOC), competitor activities and industry trends. Drive best practice in sales techniques throughout the department and develop the team in alignment with global processes, ensuring a talent pipeline. Ensure compliance with government, customer policies, procedures and regulations, and maintain CRM utilization and integrity.
