Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group and a major construction firm in Phoenix, AZ are seeking an experienced project controls leader to oversee regional teams and improve how complex projects are planned, monitored and delivered.

You will drive cost management, scheduling and forecasting across multiple regions, partnering with senior leaders to identify risks and improve forecasting. This senior role requires travel up to 25% and a strong focus on developing managers and training teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in project controls or construction operations.
• Experience leading managers and teams across multiple regions.
• Strong knowledge of cost engineering, scheduling, risk management and performance analytics.
• Evidence of successfully implementing new systems and processes across a construction business.
• Experience with enterprise project controls and reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional Project Controls Managers and establish consistent standards across the business.
• Oversee cost control, scheduling, reporting and project performance measures.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify risks, improve forecasting and support financial targets.
• Introduce improved systems, analytics and reporting tools to support decision-making.
• Lead performance reviews and implement improvements across projects and teams.
• Develop managers and deliver training to support new processes.
