Job summary

Rise Baking Company, Tucker, GA, is seeking a Regional Plant Controller to lead regional finance across multiple manufacturing sites. You will own regional P&L, consolidate P&L, drive cost savings, and partner with Operations VPs to support value creation.

The role requires 10+ years in accounting/finance, including 5+ years in multi-site plant finance, ERP proficiency (SAP or equivalent), and strong Excel/financial modeling. PE sponsor experience preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including at least 5 years managing or overseeing plant finance across multiple manufacturing sites.
Direct experience in food production, food & beverage, consumer products, or other process manufacturing environments.
Experience with a PE sponsor through a full hold period preferred.
Strong ERP proficiency (SAP or equivalent); advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

Own the consolidated regional or category plant P&L and ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close across all plants in the region.
Standardize and enforce a consistent close calendar, chart of accounts, and reporting package formats.
Review and approve plant-level financial packages and resolve discrepancies with Plant Controllers.
Provide concise financial analyses and presentations to leadership to drive decisions.
Identify cost savings, productivity, and efficiency opportunities related to material, labor, and overhead.
Lead regional CapEx review process and ensure ROI models are rigorous and consistent.
Track regional CapEx spending and escalate overruns or changes.
Lead cross-plant continuous improvement initiatives targeting cost and efficiency.
