Job summary

Rise Baking Company, LLC in Worcester, MA is seeking a Plant Controller who will own plant-level accounting, cost management, budgeting and financial reporting with EBITDA discipline. You will communicate financial data clearly to plant leadership and surface opportunities to improve margins and working capital.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing finance, a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, strong ERP experience (SAP or equivalent), and a track record of delivering close,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in a plant/manufacturing finance role.
• Direct experience in food production or consumer products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for the plant P&L and balance sheet.
• Deliver plant-level financial packages with detailed variance analysis.
• Maintain a close calendar and collect timely inputs from operations and support functions.
• Monitor inventory health, including aging, obsolescence reserves, and slow-moving SKUs.
• Identify cost savings and productivity opportunities in materials, labor, and overhead.
• Provide concise analyses and financial presentations to plant leadership.
