Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Senior Field Support Specialist to represent the Anthony and Hillphoenix brands, managing the customer experience post shipment and supervising regional contractors. This role focuses on rapid issue identification, field startups, and field reporting to enable design improvements.

You will diagnose field issues, train contractors, ensure safety and quality standards, and collaborate with product management, engineering and QA to define maintenance schedules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 10+ years in refrigeration or 5 years in supermarket refrigeration
• Journeyman refrigeration certificate may be required in some regions
• AC/R certification preferred
• EPA Certification preferred
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Uses knowledge of refrigeration, mechanical, hydronic, and electrical systems to diagnose and direct repairs or updates
• Trains regional contractors and dealers on installation and maintenance
• Supervises installation/service reps during repairs or updates
• Ensures DFR quality standards through customer visits and follow-ups
• Develops maintenance schedules with product management, engineering, and QA for manuals
• Ensures safety guidelines are followed during installations, startups, remodels, and investigations
• Oversees new equipment startups to ensure successful operation
• Creates thorough field reports detailing diagnosis methods, measurements, observations, and conclusions with recommended actions
