Job summary

The ASPCA seeks a Regional Director of Facilities Operations to lead strategic and day-to-day management of its facilities across New York City, Pawling, Washington, D.C., and Florida.

You will guide safety, compliance, and operational excellence, align facilities with program needs, and shape strategies with the Vice President of Facilities Operations.

This on-site role requires travel up to 15% and flexibility for after-hours support to ensure 24/7 facility readiness and animal-care continuity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading managers and teams across multiple locations.
• Extensive knowledge of building systems including electrical, HVAC, elevators, and fire safety.
• Familiarity with DOB, FDNY, ECB, and EPA regulations.
• Experience negotiating vendor contracts and managing labor relations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ASPCA facilities staff and operations at multiple sites.
• Develop and manage Preventative Maintenance Programs for owned and leased properties.
• Lead capital projects, vendor selection, budgeting, and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards across sites.
