Job summary

Mars Snacking North America seeks a Sr. Regional Project Engineer to lead electrical, controls, and digital automation projects across multiple sites including Jackson, TN and other locations.

You will manage the full project lifecycle from ideation to closure, coordinating with diverse teams to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence. Responsibilities include control systems design, scope management, and leveraging Digital Plant Technology to gain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical or relevant engineering.
• 5-10+ years' experience in a comparable technical position in food, beverage or related industry.
• Understanding of engineering disciplines: Process, Packaging, Electrical, Controls, Automation, Construction.
• MBA or PMP certification is a preferred asset.

Responsibilities

• The development of control systems for automating manufacturing processes and packaging systems.
• Delivering projects to the business that provides a competitive advantage.
• Control Systems design, including developing control concepts and specifications.
• Directing modifications, installation, and integration of systems across electrical, controls, Factory IT and digital platforms.
• Ensuring delivery of scope, time, budget, and cash flow objectives.
• Maintaining project adherence to scope, deliverables, and critical success factors.
• Communicating with the project steering team to achieve objectives.
• Applying technologies to gain competitive advantage and improve business metrics.
