Mars Snacking North America is seeking a Regional Project Engineer to lead capital projects from ideation to closeout. You will oversee projects in distribution, packaging, warehousing, and related areas, driving performance under the Engineering Work Process with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires 4+ years of relevant experience, strong communication, and travel (30–50%), with opportunities for international assignments. Based at one of several U.S.

Formación

• BS degree in Engineering.
• 4+ years’ experience in a comparable technical position in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or related industry.
• Proven track record in executing capital projects >$1M.
• Demonstrated ability to manage consultants and contractors in a factory environment.
• Deep understanding of processing engineering principles.
• Prior knowledge and experience in food safety.
• Strong communication, listening, and influencing skills.
• 30–50% travel requirement (site location dependent); potential for international travel.

Responsabilidades

• Provide innovative Process Engineering solutions that drive a competitive advantage.
• Accurately scope and estimate capital projects that are technically feasible and meet plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across R&D, Quality, Commercial, and Finance to define and achieve objectives.
• Ensure delivery of scope, timeline, budget, and cash flow per the Engineering Work Process.
• Onsite management of contractors and OEMs during installation, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Lead commissioning, validation, and startup of equipment.
