Cordoba Corporation is a leading civil engineering firm based in California, specializing in education and facilities, transportation, water, and energy. We are seeking a Senior Regional Construction Scheduler to support our Education Sector. As a Senior Regional Construction Scheduler, you will report directly to the Sr Construction Manager for Scheduling and Estimating, providing updates and preparing reports for upper management to meet Key Performance Indicators. Your responsibilities include supervising Project Schedulers, interfacing with OARs, Senior Project Managers, and site staff, and ensuring project timelines are met. A minimum of eight years of professional experience in Construction Scheduling, preferably in educational facilities or public works projects, is required. You will play a crucial role in maintaining program schedules, reviewing contractor submissions, and conducting schedule negotiations.

Responsibilities
  1. Report directly to the Sr Construction Manager for Scheduling and Estimating, providing updates and preparing reports for upper management to meet Key Performance Indicators.
  2. Supervise Project Schedulers to ensure project timelines are met; interface with OARs, Senior Project Managers, site staff, and contractors regarding CPM schedules, project scope, and budget.
  3. Project staffing needs assessment and recommendations to executive staff for staffing improvements.
  4. Develop and maintain program schedules, identifying relationships, milestones, and constraints for various construction projects.
  5. Interpret and read detailed construction drawings (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil, etc.) and understand work scope.
  6. Review contractor’s baseline schedule submissions for proper scope identification and logical sequencing; provide detailed review comments.
  7. Perform QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals, reviewing critical path, cost and resource loading, logic relationships, constraints, and milestones.
  8. Conduct schedule Time Impact Analysis for change orders affecting the schedule; negotiate delays with OARs and contractors.
  9. Analyze drawings to determine scope inclusions/exclusions and assess time extensions based on contract terms.
  10. Perform Critical Path and Earned Value analyses.
  11. Visit construction sites as needed; report on contractor schedule progress to OARs and management.
  12. Communicate effectively with contractors regarding schedule and progress in meetings.
  13. Regularly perform Program Schedule QA/QC reviews.
  14. Update Program/Master Schedules bi-monthly; prepare reports as directed.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience with additional years in relevant duties.
  2. At least 8 years of professional experience in Construction Scheduling, preferably in educational facilities or public works projects.
  3. Proficiency in Primavera (latest version) and MS Office Suite.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Strong organizational and planning skills.
  6. Ability to build effective working relationships with project teams and staff.
  7. Understanding of cost engineering, scheduling principles, and schedule forensics.

Salary Range: $156,000 to $165,000 per year
