Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of full-time paid professional experience in scheduling, preferably for an Owner or General Contractor on educational facilities or public works projects.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Alternatively, a degree in any field with an additional two (2) years of experience in Construction Scheduling to compensate for the required education.

  • Conduct Time Impact Analysis for any changes to the construction schedule due to change orders and perform schedule negotiations with the OAR and contractor regarding delay time settlements.
  • Review drawings to determine if work is within or outside the scope and assess contract terms to determine the validity of compensable or non-compensable time extensions.
  • Perform Critical Path and Earned Value analysis regularly.
  • Walk construction sites as needed to verify the contractor’s weekly/monthly schedule progress, providing reports to the OAR and upper management.
  • Effectively communicate with contractors and project teams about schedule/progress updates and concerns during regular status meetings.
  • Regularly perform Program Schedule QA/QC reviews.
