Job summary

Perkins&Will in the United States is seeking a Senior Regenerative Design Advisor to guide regenerative design strategies across a diverse portfolio, focusing on high-performance water, energy, carbon analysis, and healthy materials research.

Reporting to the Director of Regenerative Design, you will lead projects, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver living building outcomes, reduce carbon impacts, and advance sustainable design across multiple sectors.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of deep green sustainability and regenerative design.
• Experience with Living Building Challenge, LEED, Passive House, BREEAM, GreenStar, Nabers, WELL Building, and Fitwel.
• Participation in a subset of areas such as climate positive planning, biophilia, biomimicry, green materials, embodied carbon, energy and water systems.
• Knowledge across interior and architectural scopes of work; cross-sector understanding.
• Strong communication and analytical skills with clients and colleagues.
• Familiar with project specifications, architectural drawings, and building construction.
• Credited publications and thought leadership are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead regenerative design initiatives across the studio portfolio.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, and leadership to apply strategies.
• Develop and implement performance standards and sustainability documentation.
• Mentor junior staff and oversee deliverables across multiple sectors.
